On Tuesday, January 3rd, Community High School hosted the first in a series of town hall events, led by Buncombe County Schools Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson, for the Owen District. This town hall was particularly special in that Dr. Jackson grew up attending school in the Swannanoa Valley. Gathering in the CHS Media Center, area stakeholders including Owen District administration, staff, and community members were provided opportunities to learn and discuss direction, vision, and ideas for Buncombe County Schools under Dr. Jackson’s leadership.
