Students in Mr. Foote’s Horticulture classes participated in a citizen science research activity coordinated by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Researchers at the Smithsonian are using Gingko leaves to study the past, present and future of climate change. CHS students gathered Gingko tree leaves, documented observations, and submitted photographs and data to the collaborative Fossil Atmospheres project using the iNautralist app.
